Tiki, Valentines, & Pin Ups Oh My!

     It has definitely been a busy month here in Monterey. Between moving, traveling to Oly for Vday shoots (fly Virgin!), & working through this weekend's shoots it has been nothing short of electric these past few weeks.
 

      Beautiful chaos may be  the best description!

In Oly I was lucky enough to do a Tiki set with Golightly's hair & makeup and this beautiful girl & her awesome Eukele- whose name escapes me at the moment.

Upon return I was lucky enough to shoot a super classic Pin Up set with Lady Luxe MUAH and this lovely client.

Hot Pink Eye Makeup Vol. 1

Just wanted to share my first eye- make up experiment with y'all!

I'm using the Shany 120 palette and I just took this on my phone real quick and did a light edit, I think next time I ll just put on face makeup too so I dont have to edit my skin :) But I was really impressed with how vivid the colors are. The one thing I am not super impressed with is that there is no color name or number as a reference so if I wanted to point out which colors they were I couldn't really do that without taking a pic of the eye makeup palette and using arrows to point them out LOL.


Oh well!

California Lov

Here I am !

Started the New Years off right in a the state of California! It has surely been a few weeks of grueling moving, cleaning, goodbyes, and the search for the perfect home. But we made it! After a 14 hour drive on New Years eve we happily arrived in Santa Cruz where Dave & I resided for a week or so before moving into a place in Monterey. Anyways, things have been good here with Painted Lady- wrapped up the holiday shoots with a calendar shoot for a lady whose hubby is in the Navy. Definitely the biggest project I've worked on in a bit! Here' one of my fave's from her shoot

Then today I finally had a moment to play around with some picture time for myself and I took this little cutie self portrait! Hope ya dig :)
